Evening Forkers!

September just feels like new beginnings, doesn't it? Kids are back to school, the cool weather is lingering in the air and all the exciting fall and winter events are just coming into full swing.

With the changing of the seasons, we're also ready for eating lots of comfort foods! Check out some of our favourites in this issue:

Our plans for the Fall season...

😍 β€œHoly Fork, That's Good!”
3 Comfort Food Spots to Try Right Now

I feel like comfort foods means something different to everyone, but these are some of my favourite spots to go to "warm my bones" via my stomach.

🍜 Szechuan Noodle Bowl: This used to be one of my favourite spots to visit when I worked in downtown Hamilton. The hand-pulled noodles are excellent and they have a whole delicious menu of Szechuan specialties, like cucumber in hot and sour sauce, Dan Dan noodles, sauteed beef with pepper and onion and more. 117 King St E, Hamilton, ON

πŸ₯” Ye Olde Squire: Now with several locations across Hamilton area, Ye Olde Squire is a great spot for classic pub fare and British food. My personal favourites there are their chicken tenders, and potato skins. 1508 Upper James St, Hamilton, ON L9B 1K3

🍲 Pho Nhung: This little pho spot on Queen near York is the ideal spot for warming up. The family owned shop has a plethora of options from Vietnamese mains and apps, banh mi sandwiches, plus Thai and Cambodian offerings like soups and rice noodle dishes. 85 Queen St N, Hamilton, ON
