Morning Forkers!

Since we are right into the Summertime vibes, for this week's issue we have a food truck round-up, outdoor festivals for ribs, communities, local celebrations, along with lots of tasty news.

As always, please share your favourite eateries with us! We love adding in reader content and learning about new spots or hidden gems.

😍 β€œHoly Fork, That's Good!” 3 Food Trucks to Try Right Now

With all the trucks below, we can't share specific locations since they are always on the move! In most cases, if you visit their instagram page they post details about where you can find them.

πŸ” Galaxy Burger: We have likely mentioned this one in the past, but that's because it's just so darned good! If you are a smash burger fan, you'll want to source out this tasty pink food truck.

πŸ§€ Grilled Gold Eats: Decadent grilled cheese on wheels! Try options like Peach and Poblano, Hot Honey Chicken Dip or Creme Brulee with Ham and Green Apple - all melted together with top-notch cheesey deliciousness.

πŸ— Dirty South: One of the OG food trucks, also working out of a brick and mortar on Concession (Townhall). Their fried chicken is second to none, especially their Fried Chicken Poutine - Heather's favourite.

πŸ† Forking Local Faves: Reader Picks

"Downtowners (like myself) are still mourning the loss of Greek Palace to Stoney Creek a few years ago. But once I found out Nisi in Burlington was opened by the same family of my favourite Greek spot, I was there in no time (it's a much shorter drive!).

Their classic plates (like chicken souvlaki) are always a hit, but as a sit-down restaurant, I was able to enjoy their incredible appetizer baked feta, covered in phyllo pastry, sesame seeds, honey, and walnuts." ~Stef S.

Tell us about your hidden gem, and you could be featured in next week’s newsletter!

You all voted for Heather's birthday spot - and a patio would have been a great choice!

Unfortunately, she was sick so the true option was a big fat nowhere.

Alas, there's always this week!
