Forking Delicious 🍴 Food and Events (Week of October 24, 2024)

Evening Forkers!

In this week's issue we have two dining spots that are weaved into the fabric of Hamilton's history, some hidden gem eateries, restaurant anniversaries (with giveaways), and of course, many Halloween / spooky events.

So, let's dive in!

😍 β€œHoly Fork, That's Good!” 3 Spots to Try Right Now

🌭 Easterbrooks: Sometimes you just see a post online and you're reminded about an excellent spot you haven't been in ages. Easterbrooks is just that! Easterbrooks has been selling their famous hotdogs, by the RBG grounds, since 1930. Popular foot-long hotdogs are topped with a plethora of items from their extensive hotdog menu. Plus, the decor is like something right out of a vintage diner! 694 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON

πŸ₯© Devlin's Country Bistro: Though Devlin's isn't right within the city, it's driving distance and it's worth a visit! This fancy little spot is perfect for a date night; out in the country in Mount Pleasant, it's definitely a hidden gem. Try their wood-grilled steaks - including Wagyu - Stuffed Chicken Supreme or Baked Oysters Rockefeller (hard to find locally)! 704 Mt Pleasant Rd, Mount Pleasant, ON

🍻 Brewers Blackbird: Located within the old Frank Panabaker house, in the historic Ancaster Village, this spot has now become an award-winning microbrewery and cozy spot for tasty flavours - innovative Tuesday Taco nights, wood-fired pizzas, fish and chips, and much more! They also have a private room above the restaurant for special events. 375 Wilson St E, Ancaster, ON

Tell us about your hidden gem, and you could be featured in next week’s newsletter!
